Star Time #44: Another Mule is Kicking in Your Stall

Enough with your braying. After a week off to help the family with their Thanksgiving eating, Star Time is back with a sprint of four new shows to close out this overlong year. The second hour of this show focuses on tracks from '70s movie soundtracks, including such well-loved tracks like Rose Royce's "Car Wash" and Bobby Womack's "Across 110th Street." But it also includes somewhat lesser-known tracks like Gladys Knight's "Mr. Welfare Man" and the Moments' "Patty," which I believe is the only love song ever addressed to Patty Hearst. Unless there's something about "Afternoon Delight" which I have not yet been told.
