Whatever Gets You Thru the Night #38, #39, & #40 (Season 2 Finale)
Dear WGYTTNers,
Well, this is embarrassing.
- The webmaster's sudden bout with full-time employment
- The coordination, and then total loss of coordination, of certain outside activities that derailed the webmaster's previously sacrosanct schedules
- Relapses in webmaster's personal behavior that have since been reprogrammed
- The Russell Wilson trade
- The completion of Season 2 of WGYTTN
- The beginning of Season 3 of WGYTTN
- The completion of Season 3 of WGYTTN
- An unfortunate event involving week-old Manila clams that had nothing to do with any of this but nevertheless seems to have cast a pall over the evening
That's right. The last time we posted about this damn show Season 3 hadn't even started airing on RainierAvenueRadio.World. Now it's finished. Radio-wise, WGYTTN is currently on its now-annual summer hiatus, with Season 4 coming in September. And the webmaster has been paralyzed by the illicit lure of inaction.
So, here's what we're gonna do. We're going to post the final three episodes of Season 2 in one big bunch -- this post -- take a knee, hyperventilate, take personal inventory, and then race through Season 3's episodes over the course of August. Don't expect much in the way of creativity in these posts, just take the music and run. (In fact, it was probably the strain of forced creativity that derailed this guy's efforts in the first place. He's like a 5-year-old piano prodigy: Dangle a paddle-ball in front of his maw, and he'll stop writing the final act of his concerto and won't get back to it for another four and a half months.)
