Song Of The Day 1/20/2013: Dim Stars - "Stop Breakin' Down"

Dim Stars was a supergroup featuring Richard Hell, Thurston Moore and Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth, Don Fleming, and on occasion Robert Quine, who was in Hell's band the Voidoids. This is their 1992 take of the Robert Johnson blues song "Stop Breaking Down," which you see cropping up in a lot of other rock bands' discographies (Stones, White Stripes). Dim Stars' version is my favorite. Especially towards the end when Hell, rather appropriately, starts breaking down. This is especially great for hangovers.
