Song Of The Day 1/11/2016: David Bowie - “Fantastic Voyage”

I hope you can forgive me for the relative lack of annotation for today's song. It was changed 30 minutes before publication. It had to be.

There are very few musicians that bridged so many of my years, crossed so many of the many social groups I frequented, and influenced the majority of the music made during my lifetime that I loved. Outside of the Beatles, it's likely that none had more impact than David Bowie.

His death hits hard in ways I'm unable to articulate right now. I'll spend the next week trying to do so in these pages.
