At long last, the second episode of my show
Star Time has aired on
KVRU Seattle. Except it was intended as Episode #5. It's still a good one. This episode was produced back in April, which is why you hear the tributes to
Prince and
Billy Paul as if they'd just happened yesterday. But it's a good show overall. Featuring R&B classics from
Dee Dee Sharp, the Valentinos, Sugar Pie DeSanto, Rufus Thomas, James Carr, Joe Tex, Reuben Bell, an early version of War named
Señor Soul,
