Star Time #31: More Bounce to the Ounce
Another episode intended to offset the chronological imbalance of Star Time, in which your fuzzy host blatantly favors R&B of the '60s and '70s at the expense of all other decades, Episode #31 is the second show devoted entirely to the '80s. Somewhat amazingly, it contains no ballads. But it does contain reliables like Luther, Chaka, Nick & Valerie, "Champagne," Teena, Rick and Daryl & John. Also contains some personal favorites of mine from Nona, Kid Creole and Xavier. And you better believe you get Zapp'd better than Willie Ames ever did. There's a trampoline with your initials on it.
