Talking About Thinking About Records: Dissection - "The Somberlain" + Ice-T - "O.G. Original Gangster"

The two latest episodes of TATAR (until tomorrow) covered two albums from artists known for their unsparing detail. The first covers the debut album from Swedish black metal band Dissection, as Ian, Josh and myself discuss the issues of the triumph of sadness, and the extremely troubling events that caused us to rethink the band's legacy. Our episode on Ice-T covers the first rap artist I started following regularly, and reflects on the end of the first wave of gangsta rap and growing old gracefully.
