Star Time #99: Valentine Love

The final double-digit episode of Star Time is our second Valentine's Day tribute, this time without the disruptive influence of Dr. Dmitri Corazon. This year it's all straight-up, unfiltered romance, featuring tingling sensations from the '60s and '70s. So festoon this episode with detached rose petals and foil candy wrappers -- your date will be powerless to resist. And get ready next week for the Big Ridiculous Event of Episode #100.

Hello Anonymous. Thanks for your kind words. I generally do not publish comments on this site since so many of them are nothing more than spam. However, you seem articulate, so I'll change my standards just this once.

My advice to aspiring blog writers is somewhat minimal but it's genuine:

- Blog often, daily if you can
- Research, research, research
- Don't be an echo -- write something you haven't seen expressed yet by anyone else
- Throw the words "hot take" out of your writing strategy
- Streamline your design so it's easy to read and view
- Start by writing about what you know
- Metadata's important but don't sweat it too much yet
- Be funny

Good luck and thanks again -- P
