This week's Summer Special allows me to indulge in one of my more secret gratifications: old-school reggae and rocksteady covers of hits from other genres -- specifically, appropriately for our purposes, R&B classics from the '60s and '70s. Try to imagine the second hour of today's show pouring out of a 35-foot-high sound system as the island swelters around you. But don't try and stick me for the smoke damage.
