New Podcast! Talking About Thinking About Records

Hey, enjoyer of media. I've got a new thing for you. It's the first podcast I've ever been a regular on.

Talking About Thinking About Records is a project I've been working on with Ian Jensen, who I've known since he was a punk-ass teenager, and his associate Josh Ottum. They're in Southern California. We've been working on this show since March and have already taped seven episodes. The show debuts today. Like, now.

The premise is pretty simple. Every episode, we three guys connect on Skype and discuss a different album in-depth. No genre is excluded. The talk is riveting, I tell you.

In our first episode, live right now, we discuss Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power. In future shows we tackle R&B, indie rock, hip hop, and other things we come across. We fix all the audio issues in Episode 2, so there's that to look forward to.

It's available at the link above, and at some point should be up on iTunes. (UPDATE: It's up on iTunes, and it's also on Google Play if you're into that kind of thing.)

Talking About Thinking About Records. At the very least, it's fifth-best thing you could do with records.
