Star Time #123: Way Across Town
Not that I do it for the stats – if I did anything for the stats I probably wouldn't be salivating over Mrs. Freshley's snack cakes at the Dollar Tree – but this week's episode features a whopping 40 songs, which I believe is a new record. That's because this episode returns to the 1950's, when 45's were shorter and squatter, for the first time in a long while. This show's Summer Special in the second half is a tribute to the blues/R&B label Excello Records, of which the Rolling Stones were among the most devout pupils.
