Star Time features the first show appearances of many R&B and hip hop artists who have gone on to become major names: Mos Def, Ginuwine, Queen Latifah, Kelis, Jay-Z, and Erykah Badu, just to mention a few. It also features the first appearances by several artists who became minor names, but because we're well-mannered, we won't specify who those are.
